‘Passion for Fashion’

Annual Salesian Pallaskenry Fashion Show

The style stakes were high at the Salesian Secondary College, Pallaskenry fashion show press launch, which took place at Bentley’s Bar, Limerick last week. The fashion show will take place in the Fitzgerald’s Woodlands House Hotel, Adare on Wednesday April 25 at 8pm.

Now in its fourth year, the fashion show, which sees Transition Year students, teachers and parents, along with models from Glamour the Agency taking to the catwalk, is now one of the highlights in the schools’ social calendar. If the success of the school’s latest production ‘Footloose’ is anything to go by, the fashion show is sure to be a sell out!
Paddy O’Neill, Principal advises, “Our 49 transition year students, teacher models and parent models will definitely turn heads on the night with the fabulous fashion that will be shown.  People who are interested in fashion and a good night out will not be disappointed.”
Shops from various boutiques in Limerick City and County, as well as designers, will be showcasing their latest Spring/Summer collections. Among the shops that will be participating include Imasa, Gretta Gibbs, Patsy’s of Rathkeale, Caroline Mitchell knitwear designer, Pamela Scott, McGovern’s, Sinead’s, Noels, Virginijas, Kimono, Seduzca, Jack and Jones, 7 Camicie, Katie Janes, Roccoco, Bella Sola, Number 15, A|wear and Diesel. Shoes on the night are by Roccoco (The Shoe Rooms) in Adare.
The Hugh Campbell Hair Group will style all the models hair on the night and the students’ makeup will be by Reva’s Beauty Salon in the Fitzgerald’s Woodlands House Hotel. There will be a fantastic raffle also. Tickets are available from the school and on the night costing 15euro for adults, and students are 8euro with a 2+2 family ticket priced 40euro. RTE’s Lorcan Murray will compere the show on the night.
