Organiser Courtney Hyland explained, “We wanted to do something very different in Limerick for the city’s first make-up and hair show. The looks that will be created won’t be your average looks but very zany and really will have to be seen to be believed. The catwalk is not going to be your normal ramp; the models will look fantastic with serious attitude! It is the first proper make-up show to hit Limerick and is a great way for up-and-coming local talent such as make-up artists, hair stylists and models to promote themselves as well.”
Local models Alie Lacey and Lauren O’Carroll launched Make-Up & Mayhem in Limerick Skate Park and the event promises to be a night to remember with DJ Johnny Hammond adding his flavour of mixes and extreme lighting to create a night with a difference.
The evening will also feature a range of hip hop dancers and many exhibitors from the Irish beauty industry so those visiting the show can be carried away in the mayhem of a fun and exciting first for the city. Limerick’s own Richard Lynch will host the evening which will also feature great spot prizes.
