SCOTTISH band Franz Ferdinand make a return to Dolan’s Warehouse this weekend. Scenes of stage-diving and mayhem greeted the band on the last visit in February 2009. This time around it is over 2 years since Franz Ferdinand have played in public and fans can expect to hear some new songs as a fourth album is planned for later this year. Singer, Alex Kapranos revealed that the band promised themselves they would not over-publicizing their progress as he felt that is something he regretted about their previous album.
Franz will be busy during the summer with a headlining slot at Field Day festival in London’s Victoria Park. They are listed on the line-ups for Montreal’s 2012 Osheaga Music Festival, Chicago’s 2012 Lollapalooza Music Festival, Barcelona’s Primavera and San Francisco’s Outside Lands Music Festival. Franz Ferdinand play Dolan’s this Saturday May 19.
