Clonlara case struck out

A WOMAN accused of harassing her neighbours in the village of Clonlara has had the case against her struck out as she has obeyed all terms put to her since the complaints were first made.
Lavinia O’Shea, 44, of Lisduff, Clonlara was before Limerick District Court last June when she was served with summonses after gardai had received complaints about her from neighbouring residents.

Allegations of harassment and inappropriate conduct had been before the court and upon hearing the evidence, Judge Aeneas McCarthy had adjourned the matter for one year pending a review of Ms O’Shea’s conduct.  Ms O’Shea gave an undertaking not to communicate in any way with the complainants and not make any subsequent complaints against them to the An Garda Siochana.
The court heard that Ms O’Shea had not come to an adverse notice as she represented herself in court.  The matters against Ms O’Shea were struck out pending a continuation of her current conduct.
