Hook and Heineken to hit Limerick

-

Munster host Saracens in a season defining Heineken Cup fixture this Saturday. To mark the big day George Hook will be broadcasting live between 12-1pm from Smyths pub in Limerick.

Speaking about the big day George Hook said “There are not many places in world rugby that can boast an atmosphere like Thomond Park and Limerick city on a Heineken Cup match day so we want to set the tone early with a show packed with special guests, competitions and rugby analysis. So if you are interested in getting your hands on the last tickets in town or the best seats in the house then make sure to join us in Smyths between 12-1pm.’

Smyths Bar promises to be a hub of Heineken Cup activity all day. James Lennon, owner of Smyths Bar and Icon Nightclub is looking forward to the occasion; “It is great to have Heineken and Newstalk in town. We will be putting George to the test after he comes off air, he’ll be taking live questions while serving pints to our customers! So if it’s a question or a pint, make sure to be there to ask George! We’ll be showing all the day’s rugby and of course the big match as well.”

To celebrate the back-to-back December fixtures Heineken is also guaranteeing Heineken Cup match tickets for those who correctly predict the results of the matches in round three and four. All you have to do is play Heineken Star Predictor, the online match prediction game for your chance to win, log on to www.heineken.ie/heinekencup and register by 5.00pm Friday 7th December.
