Rail commuter feedback sought on service changes

@IrishRail – IARNROD Eireann is inviting its customers to provide feedback on proposed changes to its inter-city and regional services following the publication of a draft timetable for 2013.
The proposed changes to the rail timetable will see faster journey times on inter-city routes and improved connections on regional routes, but several routes are set to be scrapped because of low demand. The Dublin-Limerick route is expected to improve by up to 17 minutes, although the 13:40 train from Heuston Station will no longer operate.

There will be a reduction in the Limerick-Galway route of one service in each direction while passengers coming to and from Nenagh are also set to be affected, with the 05:05 train to Dublin via Nenagh due to be discontinued, as well as evening trains to and from Ballybrophy via Nenagh.
The Limerick Junction-Waterford route will be reduced by one service in either direction.
