Gardai at Henry St are appealing for witnesses following aย two vehicle road traffic collision on Thursday January 3 on the Old Dublin Rd at Lisnagry Co Limerick. At approximately 2.20pm two vehicles collided on the the Old Dublin Rd, at Lisnagry about five miles outside Limerick city. Three males were taken toย Mid Western Regional Hospital at Limerick for treatment.ย Two males in one car were seriously injured, one of the males (77) was pronounced dead shortly after midnight on Friday January 4, the second male (75) remains in a serious condition and the third male (48) the driver of the second vehicle his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
The roadย was closed for a forensic collisionย examination, diversions were put in place and the road re-openedย later at 6pm.
