Hunt Museum shortlisted for international award

The Hunt Museum Limerick.  Picture:Press22HUNT Museum is shortlisted for the ‘What’s on 4 2013 Junior Awards’, the first year that this international award scheme for the best activities, volunteers and venues has extended to Ireland.

The Hunt Museum is a nominee in the categories

*Best National School Aged Activity (5 to 12 years) and

*Most Outstanding Activity Leader for Children

which means that the museum has received at least five nominations and will now go through to a national voting stage.  At present, The Hunt Museum develops and provides many activities, such as school visits, discovery trails, tours, arts and crafts classes, camps and competitions.
