Family initiative for GAA and greyhound racing

Munster Managers IGBLIMERICK Greyhound Stadium is part of a joint initiative between the Irish Greyhound Board (IGB) and Munster GAA to entice families to attend events from both organisations this summer.

The scheme will allow families the opportunity to purchase a family ticket for Munster GAA matches and simultaneously receive a family discount pass from the IGB.

The pass will give a family of two adults and three children admission and two race programmes for just €10 to participating greyhound venues.

Limerick Greyhound Stadium is one of five venues involved, with the others based in Cork, Tralee, Thurles and Waterford.

The two organisations ran a similar scheme two years ago and it proved to be a runaway success, so it is hoped that this summer will see a similar turnout.
