SINGER/ songwriter Cat Dowling previously fronted Babelfish and Alphastates. In 2010 she began to write her own music resulting in Cat’s new album, ‘The Believer’ which is recieving love letters from the critics. Of Cat’s music The Irish Times gushed, “one of the most wonderful voices in Irish contemporary music – and its husky tones are used to mournful perfection on her latest single, ‘Come On’.”
Dowling has signed a US and Worldwide Publishing Deal. In the past, her songs have appeared on high-profile US dramas including ‘CSI Miami’, ‘The Gate’, MTV LA as well as a number of independent European and Irish Movies and dramas. Cat Dowling plays Seoda Shows at Bourke’s Bar, Catherine Street on Thursday May 30.
