THE CHARITY Heaven Cent is calling on Limerick people to do big things with small change. The joint fundraising initiative between Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital Crumlin and Temple Street Children’s Hospital, is coming to an end on Monday July 5. The two national children’s hospitals hope to raise €2 million by asking the people of Ireland to shake their bags out one last time, empty their pockets and rummage down the back of the sofa for loose coins. There are 36 drop off points throughout Limerick which include Bank of Ireland, An Post and Tesco.
