A CLEAN -UP operation is underway at UL after a fire broke out at the campus in the early hours of Wednesday morning.  Four units of the Limerick City Fire and Rescue service attended the incident at the Schroedinger building shortly after 2.30am. Breathing apparatus crews used thermal image cameras and hoses to fight the fire. The blaze was brought under control quickly. It is understood a light-fighting fell at a laboratory causing a small fire but extensive smoke damage.
