Ulster Bank League Fixtures announced

Lansdowne v Clontarf - Ulster Bank League Division 1ATHE fixtures for the forthcoming Ulster Bank League Rugby season have been announced. Kicking off on September the 28th, 8 eight Limerick based teams will be looking for glory across four divisions.

First up for Division 1A side Garryowen is a clash with Dolphin in Dooradoyle. Fellow 1A side Young Munster will face a trip to St Mary’s on day one. Last season’s relegated pair of Shannon and Ul Bohemians will look to bounce back from Division 1B as soon as is possible. The Shannon men take on Blackrock at home on weekend one, while UL Bohemians will travel to Terenure.

In Division 2A, Bruff will entertain NUIM Barnhall, while Old Crescent will travel to Old Wesley. In division 2B, new arrivals to the AIL, Richmond, will open with an away trip to Boyne, while Thomond will face Sunday’s Well in Fitzgerald Park.

Friday Night Lights games have proved very popular and attracted large crowds in recent seasons; they will be a key feature again this year with Irish Rugby TV streaming live games and match highlights from Division 1A throughout the year.
