LIMERICK anglers are furious with the ESB for not doing more to stop poachers decimating salmon stocks in the county’s rivers.
“It is with great regret that the majority of anglers feel betrayed and let down by the ESB who continue to fail in their responsibility of protecting salmon stocks in both the lower Shannon and Mulcair river systems,” a spokesman for the Mulcair Anglers group told the Limerick Post”.
