Five managers announced for Limerick Intermediates

Westmeath v DownFollowing a special County board meeting last night in the Claughaun GAA  clubhouse, a five man management team has been ratified to take control of the 2014 Limerick Intermediate hurling panel.  Both the County board and Club delegates agreed on a motion, that came from the floor, that a five man selection team will manage the Limerick intermediate hurling team for the coming season. The five men, who will have the responsibility of leading the Limerick intermediate hurling team for their championship game against Tipperary in Thurles on June 1, will be Jimmy Carroll, Pat Howard, Don Finn, Tom Ryan and Tony Roche.

The news comes after weeks of speculation that former Limerick Senior hurling manager Tom Ryan would be appointed to the post, having originally been appointed as a selector of the Limerick under 21 panel for 2014.
