Super Blues begin with Bray

Limerick FC v Shamrock Rovers - Airtricity League Premier DivisionLIMERICK FC will begin their 2014 Airtricity League Premier Division campaign with a home fixture against Bray Wanderers at Thomond Park, with the match scheduled for Friday March 7.

Following the visit of the Wicklow club, the Super Blues travel to Dundalk a week later and then visit champions St Patrick’s Athletic on Friday March 21.

The first Munster derby of the season is pencilled in for Monday April 7 as Stuart Taylor’s men host Cork City at Thomond Park, with Limerick then visiting Turner’s Cross on Friday June 27 before another Shannonside meeting on Friday September 19.

Limerick appear to have a tough finish to the season, with their last three games all against teams who will have title ambitions. They go to Derry City on Friday October 10, host Sligo Rovers a week later in their final home fixture of 2014 and finish with a trip to Shamrock Rovers on Friday October 24.
