FOLLOWING the devastation caused in the wake of Storm Darwin, Limerick City Council’s Parks Department has confirmed the closure of a number of public parks following yesterday’s severe weather.

O’Brien Park (Clare Street), Shelbourne Park and The People’s Park will remain closed to the public today, Thursday February 13 due to safety reasons.

A further update will follow this afternoon.
