THEATRE atย  The Savoy has long moved past its lunchtime limit to offer four shows for the last Thursday and Friday of each month. The May datesย  for this niche slot of drama are next Thursday 29 and Friday 30 at 1pm and 6pm each day.

Bachelors Walk Productions usher out a whimsical piece based on Joyceโ€™s โ€˜Dublinersโ€™, โ€˜The Dubliners Dilemmaโ€™. Adapted and performed by director/playwright Declan Gorman, he adapts โ€œthe history and the stories of James Joyceโ€™s remarkable first book โ€˜Dublinersโ€™ to vivid lifeโ€.

The dramatic device of a London publisher puzzling out should he risk his all to launch โ€œthis volatile but brilliant geniusโ€ is theย ย eponymous dilemma.ย  Declan Gorman plays the part of one Grant Richards reliving his โ€œfrustrating correspondence with the petulant Irish writerโ€.

ย National reviews have favoured it, ours to savour with soup and sandwiches at 1pm or glass of wine, tapas at the teatime slot in Savoy Hotel. Book at www.limericktheatre.com or eventbrite.ie
