THISย year’s Make A Move Festival happening this weekend will again celebrate Limerick and International street art and urban culture. Onย Saturday from 12 noon The Paint Parade promises to beย the largest free outdoor street art exhibition in Ireland.ย The Paint Parade has found a great new venue in the city moving toย Bank Place and the courtyard behind the Cahill May Roberts building.
“The entire space will be a celebration of art, carving new definitions for Street Art and mixing innovative contemporary pieces with more traditional styles. The area will be transformed into a place of ultra-cool entertainment.”
The event will feature overย 50 Graffiti artists painting live, three soundsystems including Rootical Soundย feat Cian Finn, Pressure Drop Soundsystem and a special live stage in the Orchard Bar, with DJs and rappers.ย
The Paint Parade happens from 12 noon until 6pm. All events are free admission.
