Peace vigil for Palestine

-

TlplogoHE Limerick branch of the Ireland-Palestine Solidarity Campaign, supported by Gaza Action Ireland, the Irish Anti-War Movement and Shannonwatch, will hold a vigil in solidarity with Palestine this Saturday, July 19 at 2pm on Thomas Street.

All are welcome to attend.

“Hundreds have been injured, an entire population terrorised and traumatised. The hospitals in Gaza are overrun and running out of medical stocks, paramedics are being targeted. Indeed, hospitals have been targeted and the home of the director general of Al-Shifa hospital’s home was destroyed the other day,” commented organiser Zoe Lawlor.

She added: “Thousands of people have been made homeless. Collective punishment is a war crime, the people of Gaza are mostly refugees, over half of them are children, they have nowhere to go.”
