LIMERICK City of Culture, working with Behind the Scenes network, is prompting film makers to submit their proposals now for a ‘short’ under the €15,000 Film Limerick scheme.
The money will be divided equally to support two winning projects. The deadline is just a fortnight away, Monday September 1 at 3pm. You an download from behindthescenes.ie/index.php/film-limerick to realise the dream.
According to manager Ronan Cassidy, what is hoped for is that “the productions will showcase the fantastic resources Limerick has to offer to both established and emerging film makers and help to cement Limerick as a film producing hub”.
In addition to the bursary, Film Limerick will furnish training, talks and workshops to foster locally based talent.
