“I HAVE not done a solo concert in Limerick in four years, and it’s always lovely to perform to the home crowd,” Sarah Dolan observes. “I won’t let it go so long again”.
Her ‘evening of opera and song’ will satisfy music lovers who caught the golden pipes of this Titian soprano at Proms in the Park with the army band back in July.
The busy international soprano, working between Germany and America’s west coast for the most part, is staging a recital here, Sunday 14 at The Hunt Museum.

Sarah Dolan performed the role of Musetta in ‘La Boheme’ with Berlin Studio in association with Festival Junger Kuenstler, Bayreuth in Germany in July.
Last year she performed performed the role of Pamina in ‘The Magic Flute’ at Lyric Opera Studio of Weimar and has sung as a soloist with the Thüringer Symphoniker Saalfeld-Rudolstadt under the baton Oliver Weder

Back to Hunt Museum on Sunday 14.
Accompanied by Mary Scarlett on piano, this down to earth woman promises “a mix, for sure, with opera, arias, solos from Bellini and Puccini and Irish classics by William Balfe and Thomas Moore. I’ll also sing from ‘Romeo and Juliet’ by Guonod”.
You can check out her profile on website www.sarahdolansoprano.com in advance.
