THE Christmas party planning season goes into full swing this week now that the costumes and cobwebs of Hallowe’en have been put away for another year and debates about where to go for your Christmas get-togethers rage throughout the city.
Along with four course dinner and DJ ’til late, the hotel has an eclectic mix of great band’s to suit all tastes. Playing for the parties are Final Touch, Renovator, George Michael Tribute, Atomic Chicken and The Alvin Purple Experience.
For The Alvin Purple Experience this will be their first gigs ever at the Ennis Road establishment. The Glam Rock troubadours are back on the road after a long break up. Alvin ‘LoveGod’ Purple returns to the stage in all his noizy glamour to get your party started with all your favourite 1970s’ hits from T-Rex, Bowie, ABBA, Slade and Sweet.
The Alvin Purple Experience Christmas Show has all the classic Christmas Glam Rock hits so expect to hear ‘I Wish it Could be Christmas Everyday’ Wizzard, ‘Merry Christmas’ Slade and Mud’s ‘Lonely This Christmas’ along with a few more surprises.
The Alvin Purple Experience are special guests at The Greenhills Christmas Parties on Friday December 12 and Saturday December 13.
Final Touch will entertain on Friday December 5. On December 7 it’s The George Michael Tribute Show. Local legends Atomic Chicken will get the Christmas Party started in style on December 19 and December 20.
All the parties include a mulled wine reception on arrival in the festive lobby where revellers can gather the gang and get ready for a four course dinner, live band and a DJ to fill the dance floor till the wee hours.
