OFFALY funnyman Neil Delamere spoke to Limerick Post recently about his upcoming stand-up show in Limerick. He can be heard all this week in the mid-morning slot on Today FM filling the airtime vacated by Ray Dโ€™Arcy before Christmas. Delamere has filled in for many shows on Today FM over the years but this current stint will be his biggest challenge yet,
He told Limerick Post, โ€œRay Dโ€™Arcy did an amazing job and for 15 years it was the biggest show on that station. We should all watch this space. Whoever does get it has a massive challenge ahead.โ€
Neil is relishing the challenge of being in the mid-morning hot seat this week and was full of praise for the support he has received from the radio station.
He says, โ€œToday FM a great place to work, very supportive, up to date and cutting edge.โ€
Neilโ€™s new stand up show is called The Fresh Prince of Delamere. The show is a reflection about whatโ€™s been happening in Delamereโ€™s world in the last year.
Expect free tips including honeymoon etiquette, appropriate machine gun usage and โ€œhow to get 400 euro cash out of a petrol station owner.”
Neil Delamereโ€™s Fresh Prince of Delamere plays at University Concert Hall on Saturday January 24.
