ARTS page has sounded note previously on Irish Chamber Orchestra’s concert tonight, Thursday 5 at 8pm in the concert hall. Schumann and Shostakovich will enthrall but ears are straining for Sam Perkin’s new commission, ‘Nimbus’. Funded by The Arts Council, this gifted composer (Cork born) has attracted accolades and commissions galore by his mid-20s. Katherine Hunka leads; book at box office.
