Described as “ingeniously executed” by The Belfast Telegraph, this entertaining show brings together four dancers and a cast of 15 chairs (yes) in “a riotous and playful game of musical movement”. Audiences are encouraged to let their imagination run free to the performers’ antics. Music is from Bach and award winning composer, Brian Irvine.
Enrique Cabrera, renowned for surreal dance productions, choreographs for Maiden Voyage Dance, the Northern Ireland based professionals who are artist led.
Jenny Traynor, director of Dance Limerick, has a big welcome for “this beautiful, playful show”. She makes the point that Dance Limerick “strives to create opportunities for all ages to enjoy and experience dance, so we have deliberately scheduled ‘Quartet for 15 Chairs’ to coincide with mid -term so that as many children and their families can come along”.
