The Hunt Museum invites the public to its Antique & Collectable Valuation Day set for Sunday February 22, from 12noon to 4pm. It will host experts from the Irish Antique Dealers Association to shed light on items of silver, glass porcelain, clocks, barometers, jewellery, pictures, furniture and books brought to the fair.

At previous Roadshows interesting items were discovered such as an original George III document referring to the Freedom of Dublin granted to a member of the Brinsley Sheridan family. In silver some Limerick silver spoons by Thomas Walsh were found; pottery and porcelain were bought in quantities and some interesting pieces of Dublin Delft and pieces by Donovan of Dublin.

This event is organised by Friends of Hunt Museum; you can email enquiries to [email protected]
