HUNGARIAN maestro Gรกbor Takรกcs-Nagy ends his journey with Haydn and Irish Chamber Orchestra on Friday March 6 with two of his sensational violin concerti.

โ€œFellow compatriot and extraordinary violinist, Kristรณf Barรกti performs the virtuosic First and his Fourth โ€“ which is courtly and grand,โ€ reports Charlotte Eglington for the orchestra. โ€Beethovenโ€™s โ€˜Grosse Fugueโ€™ was radical and visionary stretching instruments to their limit. Much anticipated is Gรกborโ€™s reading of Bartรณkโ€™s โ€˜Divertimentoโ€™, his beautiful farewell to Hungary is one of the most demanding works for string orchestraโ€.

Book at www.uch.ie and at box office for the concert hall, March 6 at 8pm for this second ICO date of 2015.
