MILFORD Care Centre and Anam Cara, the national organisation that provides support services to bereaved parents and families, are hosting a bereavement information evening in Limerick on Thursday March 5 from 7 to 9pm. This event gives parents an opportunity to hear an experienced bereavement professional talk about the many challenges families may face after the death of a child. Guest speaker is Peter Hanlon who will talk about a parent’s grief and loss. Peter’s talk will cover: The journey through the intense grief after the death of your child; coping as a bereaved mum and dad, and the everyday challenges of grief and loss. This event, which takes place at Milford Care Centre in Castletroy, is open to all bereaved parents, regardless of the age of their child or the circumstances of their death.
