WILLIE O’Dea is one of four TDs who will attempt to live on the dole with constituents struggling to survive on social welfare for a TV documentary. TV3 series ‘Dáil on the Dole’ will feature the Limerick Fianna Fáil politician next Monday April 27 at 9pm. Other TDs included in the four-part series include Fine Gael’s Catherine Byrne (Dublin South Central), Labour’s Joanna Tuffy (Dublin Mid West) and Independent TD John Halligan (Waterford). On Monday viewers will see Deputy O’Dea paired up with Limerick people who are surviving on social welfare to get a better understanding of their day-to-day lives.
