FOLLOWING the success of Irish Chamber Orchestraโs โCarmenโ last year, it presents โA Viennese Promโ at Limerickโs Milk Market for two nights later this month, on Thursday May 28 and Friday 29, 8pm.
โThis orchestral extravaganza combines the elegance of Vienna with the rousing sound of the Orchestra,โ reports marketing manager Charlotte Eglington. โEminent German conductor Jochen Rieder takes the baton for this sumptuous Strauss extravaganza. Rieder regularly conducts the great Jonas Kaufmann, so his appearance with the ICO at the Milk Market is much anticipatedโ.

Dancers from Ballet Ireland in costumes of the era will enhance this magical night from a Viennese salon.
