Scott’s Bar, located next to Mary Immaculate College, has closed with the loss of a number of full and part-time jobs.

The pub on Ashbourne Avenue is currently displaying a sign announcing that it has ceased trading as of June 7.

The pub’s Facebook page did not mention any reasons behind the closure; the last post on the page was on April 8 stating that it was recruiting full and part-time bar staff.
