DANCE Limerick’s next performance at John’s Square is ‘Falling in Love with Frida’, by Caroline Bowditch. It comes to town on Friday September 11 following a sell-out run that scooped a Herald Angel Award at the 2014 Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

Arts page is told that ”this intimate and enticing performance explores the life, loves and legacy of painter Frida Kahlo (1907-1954)”.

At this same venue, which is a resource for dancers, there’s an opportunity for choreographers to take a workshop with Bowditch and colleague/ co-performer Nicole Guarino on Saturday September 12 from 2pm-6pm. Refer to www.dancelimerick.ie
