THE sixth episode of Rachel Allen: Coastal Cooking, which follows one of Irelandโs top chefs as she travels along the southern and western coast of Ireland in search of local produce, airs this Wednesday from Limerick.
The showย takes Rachel out of the kitchen as sheย cooks her way around Ireland for her crew and the colourful characters she meets along her journey, usually outdoors while braving the elements.
In the sixth episode of the series, airing on this Wednesday nightย October 28, Rachel will visit Limerick in the search of local produce and recipes. Rachelโs first stop will take her to Rigneyโs farm where she will learn about sausage making. Rachel will then meet Val O’Connor, of Ranks Flour Mills, to learn about fermentation.
Finally, Rachel will take a flight in a Cessna plane and get a birdโs eye view of everything Limerick has to offer.
