Yellow Wind Alert issued by Met Éireann

Following Met Éireann’s issuing of a Yellow Wind Alert for Limerick, Limerick City and County Council is advising the public to exercise extreme caution over the next 24 hours due to forecasted storm conditions and gale force winds.
Members of the public are advised to remain indoors where possible during the storm and to stay away from rivers and other water bodies.

The Council is on full alert and will respond to emergencies as they arise or as it is safe to do so.
