LIMERICK group The Truth are Vincent FitzGerald (songwriter/vocals), Brian Mulcahy (guitar, mandolin, harmonica), James Hanly (keyboards/production). The trio have been working with producer Paddy Mulcahy and Keith Harris on film production for the last few years.
Their new single is ‘3 Miles from Baghdad’ from the forthcoming album, ‘Too Tall for Tokyo’.
Songwriter Vincent FitzGerald explains, ‘3 Miles from Baghdad’ is, “first and foremost an anti-war, but it is also a story of a trained soldier doing what he believes to be right.”
The topical and hard hitting song features Ronan Ryan (Iron Mountain) on flute. Video is now on YouTube.
