AN exhibition of works undertaken through an award scheme named after Kieran Meagher’s legacy as an educator was launched just before Christmas.
‘The Kieran Meagher Legacy Award’ was awarded to Steve Maher during 2014’s National City of Culture. His resultant solo work ‘The Melody is the Message’, is now on exhibition at Church Gallery, Limerick School of Art and Design in Clare Street.
Maher is a contemporary visual artist from County Limerick, living in Helsinki, Finland. Curated by Paul Tarpey of LSAD and supported by Limerick 2020, the exhibition continues to January 8.
