A LIMERICK man charged with an alleged robbery has been further charged with intimidating a witness in the same case.
Noel Price (37) with addresses at Kileely Road and Cross Roads, Thomondgate is accused of of a robbery at an off-licence on the northside of the city on August 25 last.
The directions of the DPP have been sought and are awaited by Limerick District Court.
However, a sitting of Limerick District Court has heard that Price now faces an additional charge of allegedly intimidating a potential witness in the case a day after the original offence was allegedly committed.

Price made no reply to the new charge and has been remanded in custody until January 5 next.
