The death has occurred of Florence Lynch, widow of popular Limerick publican the late Eric Lynch and mother of ‘I love Limerick’ website founder and former Limerick person of the year, Richard Lynch.
The late Mrs Lynch, who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease in 1997, raised her family of eight children while her husband ran the legendary pub bearing his name on St Joseph’s Street.
She is survived by her children, Adrienne, Michael, Michael Mc, Maeve, Eric, Richard, Paul and Ailish, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
