The alarm was raised when a blaze took hold of the Walk in Medical Centre in Dooradoyle. The Centre is near the Hi-way bar and restaurant.
Three units from the Limerick City Fire and Rescue Service were alerted at 4:45am to the blaze.
Crews took around an hour to extinguish the blaze which was confined to one downstairs room.
