ORMSTON House is hosting an in-conversation event between visual artists Linda Oโ€™Keeffe and Sean Taylor, SoftDay productions, this Thursday 9 at 6.30pm at Patrick Street.

Linda Oโ€™Keeffeโ€™s newly commissioned work โ€˜My Voice Is Still Lostโ€™ was added to the evolving โ€˜Murder Machineโ€™ project in May. This is curated by Christine Eyene in collaboration with Ormston House and in partnership with EVA International and Making Histories Visible.

โ€˜My Voice is Still Lostโ€™ explores two different pieces of text relating to Irelandโ€™s transition from a colonised space to a free state and the impact this had on Irish society and Irish women.

The texts are โ€˜The Murder Machineโ€™ by Pรกdraig Pearse (1916) and Irish Declaration of Independence (1919).
