Rugby – Guinness Pro12 fixtures announced

THE GUINNESS Pro12 fixtures have been announced for the coming season. Munster’s new Director of Rugby, Rassie Erasmus, will see his side open the season against the Scarlets (away) on September 3, before returning home to face the Cardiff Blues on Friday September 9.

Munster fans will always look at the calendar for the big Irish derby between themselves and Leinster, which this season will take place on October 8, (Away) and December 26 (Home).

October looks like it will be, as always, a make or break month for the province. As mentioned, Munster face Leinster on the 8th, before two back to back Champions Cup games, followed on by Ulster away on Friday October 28.

Musnter’s run in to the final stages of the season will include two home derbies against Ulster on Saturday April 15 and Connacht on Saturday May 6.
