THE Mirazozo luminarium, a giant art installation featuring caverns for people to explore, will be a standing feature of Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann.

Fleadh will take place from Saturday August 13 to Sunday 21 in Ennis in a variety of venues throughout the Clare capital, drawing in thousands of visitors.

Designed by Alan Parkinson of Architects of Air, Mirazozo is being brought to Tim Smythe Park by Clare County Council. Inspired by Islamic architecture, the winding passages and small domes have been visited by more than 2million people in 43 countries around the world.

Inside the 158’ x 94’ spaceship shape is a world of luminous green, red and blue stripes of light forming bouncing patterns of colour on the walls of five interlinked domes.

A ticketed event, u16s must be accompanied.
