Rugby – Munster’s Champions Cup fixtures annouced

MUNSTER’S Champions Cup fixtures for the 2016/17 season were ‘offcially’ announced today. (Have been on social media for some time now) Munster will open their European adventure this season with an away trip to Top 14 champions Racing Metro. The Ronan O’Gara coached side will also bookend the season for Munster when they travel to Thomond Park in Round 6.

A massive positive for Munster is the fact they have been granted two home games in a row. (A new venture) The home clash with Glasgow on October 22, will be followed by another home clash on December 17 versus the Tigers. Of course, this then sends Munster on the road for their round 4 and rounf 5 games, which have proven crucial in seasons gone.
