Handball – Collins congratulates Mc Mahon on All Ireland Crown

LIMERICK TD, Niall Collins has congratulated Martin McMahon, from Broadford, on winning the All Ireland Senior Singles 60×30 Championship after she defeated defending champion, Catriona Casey from Cork in a gruelling three game final in Croke Park tonight (Sat, 10th Sept).

“This is a phenomenal victory for Martina. Over the past number of years, she has been inching closer and closer to the elusive senior championship.”

“Tonight’s victory has made all the hard work, training and commitment worth it,” said the Fianna Fáil TD.”

“Since winning the World Open Doubles title in 2015, Martina has gone from strength to strength, and I’ve no doubt that there are more All Ireland’s to come.”

“This is a great night for Limerick, but in particular for the passionate and committed handball community in the county who have kept this wonderful game on the go in recent years. Comhghairdeas leo,” concluded Collins.
