LIMERICK Writersโ Centre presents another On the Nail literary production at the Belltable, this time in association with Bare Spot 2016.
Screening on Thursday November 17, 8pm, the film โHubert Butler: Witness to the Futureโ is a tribute to what LWC describes as โa great prose stylist, a brilliantly original thinker and a champion of human rightsโ.
Itโs a documentary made by the respected Johnny Gogan.
Gogan draws on recently declassified documents alongside contributions from John Banville, Roy Foster and Fintan OโToole on Butlerโs legacy.
