BECOME immersed in the beguiling, candlelit world of Mozart in a night of music and song taking place on Wednesday 23 at the concert hall.
This 8pm concert is by the producers of A Viennese Strauss Gala. Their ‘Magical Mozart By Candlelight’ presents a costumed salon setting ideal for this classical baroque era.
With 18th century dress, ambient lighting and candleabras enhancing the scene, the European Baroque Ensemble and opera singers create a magical concert.
“Expect a full programme of loved classical music and song,” advises Emma Foote, marketing manager at UCH. “This includes excerpts from the most memorable of Mozart’s operas such as ‘The Magic Flute’, ‘The Marriage of Figaro’, ‘Cosi Fan Tutte’ and many more”.
His operas will be sung by world class soloists who, together with the ensemble, perform his Symphony no. 40, Lacrimosa (Requiem D minor) and Eine Kleine Nacht Musik.
