LIMERICK/CLARE group Rusangano Family will feature in the new series of Other Voices. The first episode will air on Thursday February 2 on RTÉ 2 and will run for nine weeks. The seminal music show will also feature performances from Willie Nelson, Mumford and Sons, Imelda May, Gregory Porter and Lisa Hannigan.
Rusangano Family, in the final ten for a Choice Music Prize this year, appear in episode five, airing on March 2 with Girl Band and Fang Club.
On the live front Rusangano Family will be special guests of Girl Band headlining at Vicar St, Dublin on Friday February 17. Also on this exciting bill is Dublin trad band Lynched.
Girl Band continue their Irish tour with a gig in Dolan’s Limerick on Thursday April 8.
