ST MARY’S Cathedral has another concert to offer, an impressive free gig on Monday June 5 at 7.30pm. The hour will feature a Massuchussetts concert with Amherst College Concert Choir singing, 30 students who are touring the country.

Expect the Amherst repertoire to run from Renaissance years to 20th century, presenting sacred and secular music.

Harpist Rosemary Caine hails from Louth, and is a composer in her own right who has written musicals about the lives of Irish women from pre-Christian Ireland. These have been staged already in the US and here.
