Get to the Black Ladies Brunch

Ormston House is venue

LIMERICK Writers’ Centre and Ormston House present Saida Agostini and Teri Ellen Cross Davis of the Black Ladies Brunch Collective (US) on Wednesday June 28 in an evening of poetry and spoken word.

The Collective is a group of poets whose aim is to lift up and inspire the voices of black women who have been as a population marginalised and silenced historically.

The next edition of Weekend of Words will take place July 20 to 23 marking the third birthday of the Stanzas monthly gatherings for poetry, prose, music and visual art.

Ormston House will host a series of events for this unique festival run by Caleb Brennan, Jared Nadin, Dan O’Malley and Shane Vaughan. Expect screenings, sounds and slams from both established and emerging writers and artists.
